About

Where light meets
intention.

Design, lighting and video are my passion — exploring and creating brings me the most joy.

Lumen and Pixel was built on a simple conviction: live events deserve the same craft and intentionality as any world-class design project. Too often, the visual and technical sides of production are treated as afterthoughts — bolted on at the end rather than woven into the creative from the start.

We exist to change that. Whether it's a photorealistic pre-viz that gets client sign-off in days, a motion-graphics kit that keeps your brand sharp on every screen in the venue, or an automation cue sheet that makes the show run like clockwork — every pixel, every lumen, is placed on purpose.

What we stand for.

01

Intentional Craft

Nothing is accidental. Every creative decision — from colour temperature to transition timing — is deliberate and documented.

02

Clarity Before Complexity

We strip ideas down to their essence before adding layers. A clear concept beats a complicated one every time.

03

Joy as a Standard

If the audience leaves smiling — or stunned — we did our job. That's the only metric that truly matters.

Ricardo Bedulho

Founder & Creative Director

Based in Portugal, Ricardo has spent years at the intersection of lighting design, video production and live events. His work spans corporate conferences, music festivals, and brand activations — always with the same north star: making people feel something.

He thinks laughter is underrated, that good design should be invisible, and that the best shows are the ones where the audience never notices the technology — only the experience.

When he's not pre-vizzing a stage or programming a lighting console, he's probably chasing the next thing that makes him curious.

Let's make
something great.
